(Coming Soon)
Curator & Editor
ADDA is an ongoing, intimate series of conversations between myself (Ankita Mukherji) and other cultural workers—artists, curators, researchers, fundraisers, front-of-house and service staff—anyone whose labor supports and shapes cultural production, with a particular focus on those who hold organising roles within their communities.
“ADDA” is a Bengali word for a casual gathering with loved ones, usually filled with storytelling, gossip, music, and warmth. This zine emulates that act, creating intimate spaces for meandering, unstructured conversation shaped by the people in the room, sometimes with shared activities or music.
In each conversation, I bring together at least two people who already share a relationship—through friendship, romance, or collaborative work. It’s within this existing relational fabric that our dialogue unfolds, revealing how these ties shape, challenge, and sustain their practices. As we speak, other names and connections often surface, allowing us to trace the wider, interdependent networks we’re each entangled with.
