Hello, I’m Ankita ︎

I’m a curator currently based in London, with roots in Kolkata and Singapore. My practice weaves together research, writing, making, and programming, and centers a slow and collaborative approach to working. Most recently I’ve been working on Adda – a publication series that explores practices of resistance, care, and interdependence through intimate gatherings with other artists and cultural organisers. I’m also currently working at the School of Traditional Arts, where I am deepening my understanding of craft traditions that are carried across generations through practice and embodiment – especially as they relate to the intersecting histories of Bengal, Southeast Asia, and the UK.
