Hello, I’m Ankita ︎

I’m a cultural worker currently based in London, with roots in Kolkata and Singapore. My practice weaves together writing, curating, and making, and most recently I’ve been working on Adda – a publication series that explores practices of resistance, care, and interdependence through intimate gatherings with other artists and cultural organisers.

At the moment, I’m also thinking about ways of being together – how do our bodies love and grieve and learn and remember, especially in relation to one another? And how do we create and sustain different systems of supporting and feeding each other?

The last thing I finished reading was Mynah’s Issue 5, and next on my list are: Sara Ahmed’s The Cultural Politics of Emotion, and the latest issues of The Slow Press and Errant Journal.
